SHIPPING POLICY & DELIVERY

What is ekhadiindia shipping policy?

At ekhadiindia, we aim to deliver products with great safety and within the scheduled delivery time to your doorstep, and we ship through reputed courier companies. Shipping is FREE on orders of Rs 1000 and above. On orders below Rs 1000, Rs 49 will be charged as shipping fees.

When will my order be delivered?

We strive to deliver your shipment as soon as possible. However, the exact delivery time depends on your area pin code. This can further be affected on occasions such as exceptional weather conditions and unforeseen occurrences pertaining to transport which are beyond our control.

How can I track my order?

Please tap on the “My Orders” section under the main menu of the Website to check your order status.

Why is an item not available for shipping to my location?

The shipping of the item for your pin code might not be available due to any of the following reasons: state regulatory issues, legal restrictions, any other compliance related reason or non-availability of a reliable shipping partner for your location.

How do I know if an item can be delivered to my location?

Please enter your delivery pin code on the item page to know whether it can be delivered to your address.

Do you ship internationally?

As of now, ekhadiindia doesn't ship items outside of India.

What are the modes of Payment available at ekhadiindia?

We support the following payment options at ekhadiindia:

  • Credit Card

  • Debit Card

  • Net Banking

  • Wallet

  • UPI


Why is the COD option not available as a mode of payment?


Currently, we only have digital modes of payment. Cash-on-Delivery will reflect on our website as soon as we have it as an option.


Does ekhadiindia retain my card or account details?

ekhadiindia does not collect or store your card or account details. Your transaction is authorized at multiple points, first by the payment gateway and subsequently by RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/American Express/Banks directly without any information passing through us.

Will I be asked to provide any card information, account information or passwords over phone or email?

The ekhadiindia team will never request you to share any of your payment details over email or over the phone.

What is an Online Wallet? How do I make payments using an Online Wallet?

Wallets which can be used to make payments are as follows: Freecharge, Airtel Payments Bank, Amazon Pay, Ola Money, Jio Money, Phone Pe, Mobikwik, and Payzapp. A Wallet is a prepaid financial instrument approved by the Reserve Bank of India. It allows Indian consumers to store money in a virtual wallet and then use it across channels -- mobile, desktop, tablet, SMS, IVR -- to make payments, without entering card/bank details for every transaction. Once you have selected the items in your cart, proceed to make a payment and select the last option 'Wallet'. Under 'Wallet', you will find a radio button for types of wallets. Please choose the option by clicking on the radio button and make the payment.

What happens for the order placed using EMI which gets cancelled/refunded?

If you cancel or return an order purchased using EMI, ekhadiindia will refund the entire purchase amount to you. For partial order cancellations/refund, ekhadiindia will refund that amount back to you. You may check with the respective bank/issuer on how a cancellation, refund or pre-closure could affect the EMI terms, and what interest charges would be levied on you for the same.

I am being charged GST amount on my order. What is GST?

GST is a single tax on the supply of goods and services which is levied on every value addition (through production and services) and is added to a product's sale price. GST has to be borne/paid by the ultimate consumer of the product or service. GST subsumes all other taxes like Excise duty, VAT, Entry tax, etc.

If I return/cancel the purchased product, will the GST/VAT amount charged be refunded?

Yes. If you return the product, the applicable GST/VAT amount will also be refunded into the source account selected at the time of return initiation. However, no refunds of GST/VAT shall be made in relation to platform handling fee collected from the consumer under ekhadiindia shipping policy.

CANCELLATION

Can I cancel my order?

Yes! You can cancel an order as long as we haven't packed it for you. As soon as the order is cancelled, we refund the entire amount paid for the order.

What are the steps to be followed to cancel my order?

  1. Please log in to your ekhadiindia account

  2. Click on My Account section at the top right corner of your screen

  3. Click on Order History and then select order/item you want to cancel 

  4. Locate the "Cancel" button and click on it 

  5. Voila! The order has been cancelled


REFUND


How long will the refund take post-cancellation?

We initiate the refund immediately upon cancellations. The time for the refund to reflect in your source account might vary depending on the payment mode used.

For Prepaid Orders

  • Credit Card/Debit Card & Net banking – 5 to 7 business days

  • UPI Linked Bank Account – 3 to 5 business days

For Pay on Delivery


  • NEFT to Bank Account – 3 to 5 business days

  • Khadi Pay Balance for both Prepaid Orders and POD

How long would it take me to receive the refund of the returned product?

After the refund has been initiated by ekhadiindia as per the Returns Policy, the refund amount is expected to reflect in the customer account as per the following timelines:

For Prepaid Orders

  • Credit Card/Debit Card & Netbanking – 5 to 7 business days

  • UPI Linked Bank Account – 3 to 5 business says

For Pay on Delivery


  • NEFT to Bank Account – 3 to 5 business days

  • Khadi Pay Balance for both prepaid orders and POD

  • Paper Cheque – 8 to 10 business days

Please note, ekhadiindia initiates the refund upon successful return pick up, or after the returned item has reached us and quality check is successful. Therefore, the refund initiation time may vary depending on the time taken by the courier partner to deliver the return to an ekhadiindia warehouse. In case of any refund discrepancies, ekhadiindia may at its sole discretion request you to share with us a screenshot of your bank statement.
